About Me:

I grew up in Chelmsford, Ontario and had childhood dreams of becoming an artist, a firefighter, a teacher and a singer.  I can’t sing.  I’m quite scared of heights.  I have worked as a teacher and someday, I’d like to take some time off to give the art thing a try.  I live in Ottawa, Ontario now where I spend my days working in software quality assurance.  I also own a side-business called Silly Robot, where I do arts publicity, social media and web QA.  I spend my evenings taking photographs or working on artsy projects and learning more about various art techniques.  My free time is also spent reading, walking, flying stunt kites and socializing with friends at random events in the city.

I’ve spent a part of my life working as a freelance writer, primarily in the animation and film industry and had my own regular column in FPS Magazine for a while.  However, I just wanted a forum where I could write about anything… no particular theme, no particular focus.. yep, it goes against every “rule” about having a blog.  It’s too generalized.  That’s the entire point.  There’s a bit of everything… it’s for me but who knows, you might enjoy an article once in a while!
