Much like George Orwell’s essay entitled ”Why I write“, I wanted to share with you the reasons as to why I began this blog and why I continue to write articles.  In my About section, I’ve described the blog as a way for me to write for myself on whatever subject I want and that simple explanation still holds true.  But I want to expand on it and tell you more about why writing is valuable and important to me. It’s been a quiet month, so I share with you a ‘quiet’ poem. My blog entries will be fewer than they once were; I certainly won’t have the time to blog on a daily basis! I need to make time to achieve all of the goals on my 101 list, especially more time to read (my goal is 101 books – that’s one book every ten days!).
