Let’s start with some site news: I now have a local installation of WordPress on my computer with server et al. This means that I’ll have the power to make changes to my site and more or less preview them before actually changing anything “live”. For a PHP newbie, this is going to be super helpful for me to learn how to add, remove or modify code (and test it) without risking a major code fail. My site looks sad at this moment. When I look at art, I want to feel something. I want it to speak to my soul or to make me question everything or to make me cry or make me want to yell. I want my muscles to tense up or for my breathing to slow down… I want a physical and mental reaction to it. And it’s the same way with music. Give me power, give me theatre, give me emotion, make me want to clench my fists and throw my hands up in the air and tilt my head back and close my eyes and yell out “YES!”. Give me intensity.
